wH the 'Obssesive' : AB105 OB Project

I always feel compelled to review one's own work after it so as not to repeat a mistake.I like to remember the beginning of the process and anaylze how the pattern of events led to the result. Usually to get feedback, I will bring up the issues I feel that are important to others. However, some prefer not to think too much about it (less stressful I guess) and due to this, I come across as OBSSESIVE !

So for my own reference, I'm going to review the AB105 OB Project here! Feel free to leave your constructive feedback at the comment box.

TEAM PINNOCHIOOverview
On a whole, I think if our team manage to get a B+ or A- , it is good enough for me. Of all my projects, this would be one of the highest result yet and I do feel quite proud of the result. Our OB tutor was pretty direct in his feedback which I liked (no beating around the bush). Here are some of the strengths and issues that should be analyzed.

Strengths
  1. Structure again seem to be the team's strong point. I think this strength is fairly attributable to 'Ms. Formatter' which I feel is always able to create a nice flow for the project.
  2. Analysis of Ms. Wong and Mrs Lim. Our team highlighted what limitations of Ms. Wong(the interviewee) had in terms of information and her background. * If I'm not wrong * I remembered the points for this mostly came from 'Ms. Efficient' when we were compiling our points. Of course it was 'Mr. Phraser' who went the extra mile to interview his cousin and collect information especially about the background. Credit to both of them.

Issues

  1. The phrase in our limitation for recommendation 'No Amount of Time'. It seem to weaken our arguement. I do feel no one is to blame or if there is, it's everybodies fault since none of us detected it. The significance of this is that I learned the HarD WaY about the importance of phrasing( I was never too particular about it). Thank god 'Mr. Phraser' was always challenging our phrases. Who knows what else might have gone wrong without his effort? Thanks man!
  2. Focusing on 2 problems instead of one. I seriously can't believe we missed out on the question which says take one problem. I rememeber it being there but I wondered why It never occured to me. It might have worked for us and it made ours unique (that was the feedback). At that time, we all agreed to it because we wanted to have more to write about but with hindsight, I feel it worked against us. We were not able to focus the recommendation properly and actually did not have enough words to explain properly to make our analysis and recommendations even stronger.
  3. Not enough of Referencing (suppose to have 8-10 but we only had 3 LoL). Not much regrets here. I think the research would have taken up a lot of time and I'm not sure if the benefit would really outweigh the cost(time). Maybe it was our subject that was hard to find things. Maybe we just don't know how to simply chuck in more references. Maybe we just didn't want to put in effort there. I don't know. All in all, still NO REGRETS !

Conclusion

We live and learn. At least the blunders weren't too bad. I want to thank everybody for their efforts. Thank you , 'Ms. Formatter' (our structure and project formats always look good because of you), 'Mr. Phraser' (the name explains it all) and 'Ms. Efficient' (finish work on/ahead of time that makes us all pressured to do it. Never late for submitting her part which makes me especially compelled to faster do my part)

I will miss our talk 'cock' sessions at project meetings.
